According to ECA International in their recent survey:
Most favorable places:

7. Taiwan, Taipei
8. Thailand, Bangkok
9. Malaysia, Kuala Lumpur
10. Malaysia, Georgetown

Least favorable places: Karachi (shithole), Pyongyang(dump), Islamabad(wasteland), Dhaka(desolate) and Dili(pile o'bile).

Within Asia, Wuhan and Xi'an have shown the biggest improvement in living standards, both moving up 46 places in the rankings.
